Congratulations to the photographers of these award-winning images.
Congratulations to the photographers who snapped these award-winning photos on their Winter OE trips. A bi-annual photo contest is run by the Sustainability and Stewardship Committee with image submissions welcomed from all grades and staff. This year invited two separate categories, one for OE here in Canada where conditions were cold and snowy, and another for the Grade 12 Costa Rica trip.

Better Together
“I took this photo after we got back from dog sledding on Grade 9 OE. This was as everyone was arriving back, and saying goodbye to their dogs and feeding them water. I took the photo to try and show the relationship between the dogs and all the students.”

Winter Wonderland
“The tents are set up at Mew Lake Campground in Algonquin Park on the Grade 10 Expedition Trip. They're canvas tents with snow floors that have a wood stove in them to keep warm overnight.”

Winter Fun
“I took it while our group was out dog sledding during our winter OE out in Medeba. My hands were freezing at the time, but it was definitely worth it to capture the moment.”
Athan also received an Honourable Mention for an awesome photo of the moon.

Pure Vida
“This photo was taken from the patio of our hotel room in Jaco at sunset. It reminds me of the sense of togetherness and the strong bonds I formed with my best friends and peers on this trip.”

Rainforest Feature
“This photo was taken during a walk in Manuel Antonio National Park. It is the country's smallest national park yet one of its most biodiverse.”
